| mPAY |
| What is mPAY? |
| It is MBF Cards’ latest practical innovation that allows an MBF CardMember to transact with another MBF CardMember via mobile phones. In other words, by holding a MasterCard or Visa issued by MBF Cards, the CardMember has the opportunity to sell or buy FOOD, GOODS and SERVICES (where FOOD = “F”, GOODS = “G” and SERVICES = “S”) with MBF Cards eCLUB members nationwide through SMS. |
|
What are the charges as a Seller and Buyer? |
| The Seller will be charged a nominal mPAY Seller Transaction Fee of 1.5% of the transaction amount (or RM1, whichever is higher) by MBF Cards. The Buyer is not imposed any Transaction Fee. The Seller’s MBF card account will be credited while the Buyer’s MBF card account will be debited. |
| When I am the Seller, what happens to the transaction amount (less the Seller Transaction Fee) that I am supposed to receive? |
| The transaction amount (less the Seller Transaciton Fee) will be credited to the Seller's MBF card account the day following the transaction date. If your MBF card account or AmBank LOC account has any outstanding dues, the credit will be used to pay the outstanding (either fully or partially). As usual, excess payments will result in a credit balance in the acount. In such a situation, the CardMember can request Customer Service of MBF Cards to arrange for the credit balance to be refunded via a cheque payable to the Principal CardMember. Credit balance refund cheques usually take approximately 3 working days to process. |
