MBF Cards Sdn Bhd has appointed Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd (BMMB) to automate its merchant payment settlement processes on January 2007.

Instead of the usual cheque payment system, the funds can be banked directly to the merchant's BMMB account, enabling MBF Cards to reduce manpower costs and merchants to receive their payment quicker.

MBF Cards has appointed T-Melmax Sdn Bhd as the solutions provider for the automation process. Merchants need to have a BMMB account to enjoy this new facility.
