1. MBF Cards Turns Up the Heat Every Saturday August 2009

   The MBF Cards 'Saturday Got 5 Fever' Promotion that ran during the month of August 2009 was held in conjunction with the Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival. This promotion provided MBF Cards MasterCard cardholders multiple opportunities of winning RM50 every Saturday in the month of August, be it through transactions (of minimum RM30) that were made locally or abroad. The first 500 MBF CardMembers who registered their transactions made on Saturdays won RM50. This Promotion was also recently recognized as ‘Best Cardholder Promotion’ at the recent MasterCard Hall of Fame Awards held in Singapore. The MasterCard Hall of Fame Awards, developed by MasterCard recognizes outstanding marketing efforts by banks and financial institutions in launching or promoting MasterCard card programs. Awards in 10 categories were presented to the most strategic, creative, and well-executed payment card marketing campaigns in six countries across South East and South Asia. Almost 200 entries were considered for the MasterCard Hall of Fame Awards.

2. 'Score' a new LCD TV Daily with MBF Cards April 2009

   The MBF Cards ‘Got Score’ campaign that ran from May 15 to December 31, 2009 was designed to reward MBF CardMembers for using their MBF credit cards. The CardMember with the highest ‘score’ each day and five CardMembers with the lowest ‘score’ each month took home a FREE Samsung 40” Full HD LCD TV. To participate, all CardMembers were required to do was to charge a minimum RM30 to their MBF Cards credit card and register their 6-digit approval codes on their the transaction slips via SMS to MBF Cards or call to register for overseas transactions. To score higher, a ‘5’ was added to their ‘score’ when transactions were made at petrol stations, MBF Cards merchants, hypermarkets, supermarkets and aboard. At the end of the campaign, 271 Samsung 40” Full HD LCD TVs were given away.
